New IERS Analysis Coordinator


Dear colleagues,

At its meeting of October 9, 2010, the IERS Directing Board elected
Prof. Thomas Herring of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as the
new IERS Analysis Coordinator.

The previous Analysis Coordinator, Prof. Markus Rothacher, supported the
IERS in this position for nine years. I would like to thank him for his
leadership and valuable work towards improved IERS products and to wish
him success as Chair of GGOS.
